Is insurance included in the rental price?

Yes, your rental price includes basic Liability Protection (LP) insurance.

Coverage is up to $100,000 per person / $300,000 per accident for bodily injury, and up to $50,000 per accident for property damage. This covers damage you cause to other people or their property in an accident, and it’s already built into your rate — no separate sign-up needed.

This insurance only covers the other party, though — it doesn’t cover repairs to the car you’re driving. For that, we recommend adding CDW (Collision Damage Waiver), covered next.
