What is ZDW (Zero Deductible Waiver)?

ZDW (Zero Deductible Waiver) is extra coverage for renters who already have CDW (Collision Damage Waiver).

With CDW alone, you still pay a deductible of up to $1,000 when a covered accident happens. Add ZDW and that deductible is waived. In short, CDW caps your cost for a covered accident at $1,000, and ZDW takes that deductible away.

ZDW doesn't make every cost disappear, though. Damage CDW doesn't cover (hitting a wall, post, curb or other object with no other vehicle involved, or damage to windows, tires or wheels), the NOC charge and the $150 accident processing fee still apply even with ZDW. ZDW can't be added on its own; it's available only if you also take CDW.
