What fees apply if I have an accident?

If you have an accident, a $150 accident processing fee applies no matter who is at fault.

This fee covers the paperwork for the police, the insurance company and the repair shop, including issuing certificates. It applies even if the accident wasn't your fault, so it's good to know about ahead of time.

You may also have to pay for repairs (your share depends on whether you have CDW and ZDW) and a non-operation charge ($250–$400, or waived if you have NOC). Adding coverage helps keep these costs as low as possible if something does happen.
