What do I need to bring to rent a car?

Please bring three things when you pick up your car: your driver’s license, a credit card, and your passport.

Your home-country driver’s license is fine as-is. Your credit card should be Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or Diners Club, and must be in the driver’s own name.

If the driver and the person paying are the same person, one passport is enough. If the driver and payer are different people, both of you will need to bring your passports — this often comes up with families or groups of friends traveling together.

Please double-check that you have all three items before you leave home, since we may not be able to serve you on the day if anything is missing.
