Today I went to Buga Restaurant in Harmon.
It’s a popular Korean restaurant that Koreans living in Guam recommend.
Inside, there are tables in the middle and partitioned booths around the outside.
It’s popular, so it filled up quickly.
Each table is set up like this.
Here’s the menu.
There is quite a variety of dishes.
At lunch, people tend to order rice dishes; at dinner, it’s mostly grilled meat.
It’s busy even on weekdays.
Here comes the meat I ordered. It looks great.

The side dishes include Korean-style salad, shredded daikon, seasoned bean sprouts, pickled chili and onion, broccoli with chojang,
cucumber salad, papaya pickles, aged kimchi, lettuce, and a mix of green onion and lettuce.
There are many types, and everything was delicious.
In particular, the aged kimchi and Korean-style salad complemented the richness of the meat very well.
It was some of the best kimchi I’ve had in Guam.
I also ordered a seafood pancake and doenjang jjigae (soybean paste stew), but I finished them before I could take a photo.
The stew is delicious, so be sure to try it!
I noticed other tables were ordering a lot of galbi, so I think I’ll try that next time.
