This time, let’s talk about Macy’s, located inside the
Micronesia Mall, a place most tourists will likely visit. Macy’s is one of the leading department stores in America and is the only
department store in Guam. It offers a wide range of products, from fashion to
home items, focusing on luxury brands that originated in the U.S.
Macy’s has two locations inside the Micronesia Mall: one is dedicated to
women’s fashion, and the other features men’s, kids’ clothing, and home goods. Today, we’ll take a closer look at the women’s
section.
This is the entrance to the store from
the center court on the first floor. You can also directly enter from the
Concourse 1 entrance, which is where the red shuttle buses and other
transportation drop off and pick up passengers.
As you enter the store from the center
court, the first section you’ll see is the
cosmetics area. Next to it is the Godiva chocolate section. After that, you’ll find shoes, bags, jewelry & watches, sportswear, lingerie
& loungewear, and more.
In Guam, you can buy high-end cosmetics
at Macy’s and T Galleria by DFS in Tumon. Macy’s carries top brands like MAC, Estée Lauder, Lancôme, and Shiseido.
You’ll also find clean and healthy beauty brands like bare minerals and
Philosophy, along with haircare and body care products. There’s a great selection of gift sets and fragrances, making it a popular
spot for locals looking for presents.
For shoes and bags, you can find
American brands like Coach, Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Michael Kors, and Karl
Lagerfeld.
From glamorous party-style shoes and
bags to simple, functional workwear, and casual items perfect for holiday
fashion or beach time, each brand offers a wide variety of options.
In sportswear, you’ll find trendy and fashionable items from Calvin Klein, as well as
top sportswear brands like Nike, Adidas, and Under Armour. Hoodies, popular not
only for sports but also for everyday wear, are especially loved by young
people. During this season, outerwear from the outdoor brand Columbia is also
available.
Again, you’ll find a wide selection of American brands. From functional
underwear to slightly sexy lingerie and stylish pieces made to be shown off.
If you take the escalator from the
center of the first floor up to the second floor, you’ll find it entirely
filled with women’s fashion. The brands
here are similar to those in shoes and bags, but you’ll
also find Tommy Hilfiger, DKNY, and Vince Camuto, which originally started as a
shoe brand.
There are also plenty of beach &
surf brands like Roxy, Volcom, and O’Neill, as well as denim brands like Levi’s.
It seems like you could find everything you need for fashion during your stay
in Guam right here.
In addition to the brand-specific
sections, there’s also a corner
filled with glamorous dresses. Although there aren’t
many at the moment, during the Christmas season, when there are many parties at
hotels, you’ll see a wide range of gorgeous dresses, and just looking at them
will lift your spirits.
This is a view of the center of the
first floor from the second floor, looking down at the open area. You’ll often see men sitting on the chairs in this area, likely waiting
for the women’s shopping to finish. For some men, Macy’s women’s section might be the one place
they want to stay the farthest away from.
For women, it’s the perfect place to enjoy an American-style trend shopping
