Renting a Car for a Drive in Southern Guam Part 4 Merizo Pier Park and Inalåhan Bear Rock

Hafa adai!

We’re heading from Fort Soledad to Inalåhan Bear Rock.
Let’s stop at Merizo Pier Park along the way, as it’s a fantastic photo spot!

After about a 5-minute drive, you’ll find a cute park facing the sea.
There’s parking space near the restroom building, which has some colorful murals on the walls.

As described, it’s a place for snorkeling and fishing, and on weekends, many local kids come to play.
Many people also take small boats from the pier for fishing and diving.

If you walk to the end of the narrow pier, you can take photos that make it look like you’re standing over the water.

On weekdays, many tourists stop by to take photos.
Let’s share the photo spots and take turns!

Merizo is the southernmost village in Guam. From here, we’ll be heading north along the island’s eastern coastline.
After about 15 minutes of driving from Merizo Pier Park, you’ll see a bay on the right with a Latte Stone monument.

As you enter the parking lot, there’s a sign for “Inalåhan Bear Rock” and a photo point.

Bear Rock can be seen across the bay. Does it look like a bear to you?
Let’s take photos with Bear Rock as the backdrop at the photo point!
