Hafa adai!
We’re leaving Agat Marina again and heading to Cetti Bay Overlook.
The road that runs along the coast begins to ascend into the mountains.
As we reach a high point where the sea comes into view again, we see the sign.
The entrance to the overlook is just past that parking lot.
There’s an informational sign about the overlook with illustrations.
It’s written in Chamorro, English, and Japanese.
On the left, there are stairs that lead up.
As you climb, you’ll find a small viewing area surrounded by stone walls.
The weather was a bit cloudy that day, but on a clear day, you can see Cetti Bay below and even the Philippine Sea clearly on the horizon.
You can really see that the Earth is round with that horizon!
This view of Guam is different from what you see in Tumon.
On the opposite side of the sea, you can see Mount Humujong Manglo, with crosses lined up at the summit.
This is the true face of southern Guam.
Enjoy the natural scenery of this southern island!
