Hafa adai!
We’re heading to the final stop on our Southern Guam drive, Jeff’s Pirates Cove. It takes about 15 minutes from Inalåhan Natural Pool, so hang in there if you’re feeling hungry.
You’ll see three flags—a star-spangled banner, the Guam island flag, and a pirate flag—along with a large sign for “Jeff’s Pirates Cove” on the right side. Let’s head in and park the car.
Enter the main building in front of you. There are no other buildings around.
As soon as you enter, you’ll find a space selling souvenirs. Since this is Pirates Cove, there are plenty of pirate-themed goods!
Inside the restaurant, you’ll see a large bar counter shaped like a ship. Beyond that, there are tables arranged in a half-outdoor space.
There are many seats, but during busy hours, it can fill up quickly with customers.
This is a terrace-like area close to the sea. The view is great, so if it’s available, I highly recommend it.
Here’s the view from the table. The quiet beach and beautiful monument make for fantastic photo opportunities. There’s also a basketball court!
Here’s the menu.
There are so many options, but I ordered the restaurant’s most famous dish: Jeff’s Famous Homemade Cheeseburger! I switched the fries for onion rings.
The sauce for the onion rings seems to use mayonnaise—delicious! The burger is thick, with a large patty and plenty of melted cheese. It’s incredibly tasty.
Here’s what the interior looks like.
Just looking at the photos and cutouts on the walls is enjoyable.
I think it will take about half a day to explore the southern part of the island while taking your time to capture photos. You can really enjoy the authentic, nature-filled Guam, so definitely take a drive with a rental car!
