Today, I visited Waka Sakura, a sushi restaurant located inside Don Don Donki in Guam. The restaurant just opened in April 2024. I’ll introduce you to the interior and the menu.

From outside, you can see into the restaurant and also the kitchen space next door. It’s very clean.

The ceiling is decorated with cherry blossoms, perhaps in keeping with the restaurant’s name.
There is also a waiting area available.
Inside, there is a rail in the center with tables on both sides.
There are quite a few seats.
I visited during dinner time, but it wasn’t too crowded that day.

The layout is similar to a conveyor belt sushi restaurant, but the table is equipped with chopsticks, soy sauce, and ginger, while wasabi is brought separately.
Instead of a conveyor belt system, this restaurant uses a tablet-based ordering system, where sushi is delivered to your table.
The sushi is made fresh as soon as you order.

Flounder engawa and steamed shrimp. Both were delicious.
Udon, Asahi draft beer, and mineral water.
The mild-tasting udon is very good.
