Hafa adai!
When you come to Guam, one of the things you’ll want to enjoy is souvenir shopping. There are plenty of souvenir items available, including those made in Guam and those designed with Guam themes. If you want to shop to your heart's content, having a rental car can be reassuring. For a trip out, Kmart is recommended due to its large parking lot and well-stocked souvenir section.
Kmart is just a 5-minute drive from Tumon. It's a spot frequented not only by tourists but also by locals for their everyday shopping.
The store is extremely spacious! Inside, you can find a wide range of items including food, clothing, cleaning supplies, kitchen gadgets, stationery, toys, outdoor equipment, and other necessities for daily life.
For souvenir items, head to the left side a bit inside the entrance. You'll find a variety of items including chocolates and cookies made in Guam, as well as goods and T-shirts with "GUAM" printed on them.
Even without the "GUAM" text, there are many tropical-themed designs available. They’re all very cute!
Guam’s popular cookie brand, Latte Stone Cookie, has introduced new flavors that are intriguing even for non-tourists!
The T-shirt designs are diverse. While there may be more options for men, there are also matching designs for couples, families, and friends!
Among the Guam souvenirs, you'll also find American products. There are items like craft beer from Hawaii, Tabasco, Spam, mac & cheese, and peanut butter—things you don’t often see at supermarkets in Japan! While these items are available in the food section, it’s great that they’re also in the souvenir section!
Besides souvenirs, Kmart has a variety of other items, and it’s okay to buy in bulk. It’s open late into the night, so you can shop after dinner as well. Kmart is convenient not just for souvenir shopping but for many other needs. Highly recommended!
