This time, we're coming to you from Two Lovers Point. This popular tourist spot offers breathtaking views. First, take a look at the stunning scenery!
After paying the entrance fee ($3) and entering the observation tower, this is the view from the top of the tower. The sea in front of you is the Philippine Sea. To the left, you can see the hotels in Tumon.
The blue sky during the day is amazing, but since Two Lovers Point is located on the west side of the island, the sunset view from this observation tower is also highly recommended. From August to September, the sunset time in Guam is around 6:30 PM. Driving during dusk and night requires a bit of caution, but it's definitely worth the trip.
There are plenty of wonderful spots within the area where you can take memorable photos.
Do you know the tragic love story associated with Two Lovers Point? According to a beautiful yet sorrowful legend from Guam, a couple who were unable to be together due to their different social statuses vowed eternal love and jumped from this place. Inspired by this story, couples visiting here lock heart-shaped padlocks to symbolize their love. Even if you are not a couple, locking a padlock with heartfelt gratitude for important family members or friends is also a lovely idea.
Heart-shaped padlocks are available for $6 at the entrance of the observation tower and souvenir shop.
At Two Lovers Point, there are shops selling Made in Guam products and items designed with Guam motifs, as well as a drink stand.
Two Lovers Point is just a 10-minute drive from Tumon and has a convenient parking lot. It's a recommended spot for your first drive abroad.
