Today, I visited the Dededo Flea Market, which is held on Saturdays and Sundays. It’s open from around 6 AM to 10 AM, but I went on a Sunday.
Actually, this place is frequented more by locals than tourists. If you look at the items being sold, you'll find many people selling vegetables, fruits, and plants they’ve grown themselves.
As I was walking around, I found a stall selling avocados. The avocados from Guam are really delicious. There are green ones and brown ones, and the brown ones tasted better. There are also larger avocados with more flesh. I recommend trying them.
There were also many stalls selling accessories.
The morning market has many food stalls, including food trucks. One of the most famous in Guam, Chris BBQ, also has a stall here. If you haven't tried it yet, I recommend the pork barbecue. You might think BBQ in the morning? but the seats are packed with local customers.
There are various food trucks, so find something delicious.
There were also dessert stalls.
A stall with smoothies made from fresh fruit.
If you're spending a weekend in Guam, be sure to visit the morning market and experience the local lifestyle.
