Taxi Guide for Guam Airport

Taking a taxi from Guam Airport? Here is how to find the taxi stand and how Guam taxi fares work.

How to Get to the Taxi Stand

After clearing immigration and customs into the arrivals hall, head left past the counter area. Exit through the door marked "West Arrivals." The taxi stand and its signage are on your left as you step outside. Taxis are waiting there at all times.

How Taxi Fares Work (Guam Standard Rates)

These are Guam's standard taxi rates, based on the signage posted at the airport. Fares are metered and calculated as follows.

ItemFare
Flag Rate$2.40
First Mile$4.00
Each additional 1/4 mile$0.80
Waiting time, per 2 minutes$0.80
Per piece of luggage$1.00

A service tip of 10–15% of the fare is customary but not required. These rates reflect the airport signage at the time of writing and may be revised without notice.

As a guide, it is about 1.8 miles from Guam International Airport to a rental car office in Tumon — roughly a 10-minute taxi ride costing around $20 (actual fares vary with traffic conditions).

Moving around a lot during your stay? A rental car is more convenient.

Even a one-way ride from the airport to Tumon runs around $20, and every taxi you take for shopping or sightseeing during your stay adds up the same way. With a rental car, one day's rate covers unlimited driving. And because we don't have an airport counter — you come to us by taxi — we cash back the $15 taxi fare off your rental.

$15 cashback for arriving by taxi

Show your taxi receipt at the counter and we will take $15 off your rental at checkout.
